Colors
Auto

Auto finds the main colors and ignores blurry edges.

Layer style

Stacked: the bottom layer runs under the others, so small gaps don't show.

Background

For photos with a busy background. You tap what to keep.

Output

The width of the design itself. Empty space around it is trimmed.

Lines

Outlines only is for laser cutting. Cricut and other vinyl cutters cut along the edges either way.

Cut or engrave?

Outlines only gives the laser a path to cut along. Filled shapes gives it areas to engrave. You can switch between them at any time without tracing again.

  1. Upload a logo or drawing

One color is already selected. Move Darkness cut-off until the preview shows the lines you want.

  2. Pick cut or engrave

Outlines only for cutting, Filled shapes for engraving. Set the width in millimetres.

  3. Import and run

Open the SVG in LightBurn, xTool Creative Space or your laser’s app, and set the layer to Line or Fill.

Tips

  • Thin details can burn away. The laser removes a thin line of material (the kerf), so very thin parts may not survive cutting.
  • Raise Remove tiny pieces to drop specks that would waste time.
  • For photos, engraving the picture directly as an image in your laser software usually looks better than a vector trace.

Questions

Which programs open the SVG?

Any laser software that imports SVG, for example LightBurn and xTool Creative Space. The file carries its size in millimetres or inches.

Why does my cut look jagged?

Raise Smooth edges, or switch Detail to High for small text and thin lines.

Can I make a stencil?

Turn on Invert to cut the light parts instead of the dark ones, or use Silhouette with Invert to cut the shape out of a sheet.

Is it free?

Yes. No sign-up and no watermark.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?
